Textile anti-equines orthosis for flaccid paralysis with and without Varus deviation. For use with footwear with Velcro or lace-up closures.
Modern, almost visually imperceptible design.
Made of lightweight, highly breathable foam. Micro-Velcro closure and adjustment.
Consists of four components:
Tibial anti-equinus support: a two-point adjustment brace that adapts perfectly to the patient’s anatomy. It includes a viscoelastic pad over the Achilles tendon and the flexion area of ​​the instep.
Pull-in tab: inserted between the tongue and the shoe laces to secure the pull-in elastic.
Pull-in elastic: a maximum-strength elastic cord that connects the tibial and pull-in support and regulates the degree of dorsiflexion of the foot.

 EFFECTS

Elevation of the forefoot to the point of regulated dorsiflexion.
Facilitates walking.
Prevents the forefoot from rubbing or tripping on the ground during the toe-off phase of gait.
Facilitates correct heel positioning during stance.
